Operation ‘Clean Sweep’ catches 12 fugitives in Santa Fe County
Multiple agencies joined forces for the fugitive apprehension operation
SANTA FE — A coordinated law enforcement operation, " Clean Sweep,” resulted in the arrest of a dozen fugitives, the seizure of a loaded handgun from a wanted felon, and the recovery of illegal narcotics in Santa Fe County.
Operation Clean Sweep, conducted on November 20, 2024, was a coordinated effort between the New Mexico Corrections Department’s (NMCD) Probation and Parole Security Threat Intelligence Unit Fugitive Apprehension team, Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office, New Mexico State Police, Santa Fe Police Department, and the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS).
“This operation exemplifies the strength of collaboration among law enforcement agencies,” said NMCD Cabinet Secretary Alisha Tafoya Lucero. “We are extremely proud of the officers for their unwavering determination in tracking down and arresting these individuals, who posed a significant threat to our community.”

2. Jesus Alvidrez (DOB: 01/05/1978)
3. Jerome Gurule (DOB: 01/25/1988)
4. Manuelito Urioste-Salazar (DOB: 12/26/1984)
5. David Lizer (DOB: 09/06/1990)
6. Michael Roibal (DOB: 06/23/1993)
7. Juan Montoya (DOB: 11/29/1983)
8. Edward Lucio (DOB: 07/10/1981)
9. Aaliyah Villa-Gaytan (DOB: 08/28/2004)
