The New Mexico Advanced Energy Award Pilot Program is a new, competitive, state-funded grant that awards non-dilutive funds to advanced energy innovation and commercialization proposals from early-stage New Mexico companies developing a unique product with strong growth potential. Through this award, the New Mexico Economic Development Department ultimately seeks to support business development, job creation, the development of the tax base, and the retention or expansion of economic-base businesses.
EDD’s mission is to improve the lives of New Mexico families by increasing economic opportunities and providing a place for businesses to thrive. EDD’s programs contribute directly to this mission by training our workforce, providing infrastructure that supports business growth, and helping every community create a thriving economy.
