Letter from the Director
Hello outdoor enthusiasts,
Tomorrow, Thursday, November 6 from 3-7 PM , the Albuquerque Rail Yards will come alive for Adventure Pitch Fest — a celebration of New Mexico’s bold and inventive outdoor businesses.
Come connect and cheer on the eight finalists going head-to-head in the pitch competition at 6 PM:
Enchanted Equine Adventures – therapeutic riding experiences with rescue horses
FishSki Provisions – whole-food backpacking meals with authentic Southwest flavor
Mesilla Valley Wine & Brew Tours – agritourism adventures across Southern NM
New Mexico Pack Burros – burro-powered races revitalizing rural communities
Preservation Dogs – trekking pole tips made from recycled tires
San Juan Rodworks – handcrafted fly-fishing rods built for precision
Taos Raft & Kayak Rentals – stress-free river adventures for everyone
Wild Earth Llama Adventures – backcountry treks with llamas (yes, you can take a llama to lunch! )
This is outdoor entrepreneurship at its most creative and uniquely New Mexican.
Reserve your free tickets at bit.ly/adventurepitchfest or grab one at the door. All attendees who check in will be entered to win a “Truth or Consequences Experience” package, courtesy of Riverbend Hot Springs , Truth or Consequences Brewing , and Passion Pie Cafe .
In New Mexico, the best ideas start outside — where people, passion, and even the occasional llama come together.
See you on the trails! Karina Armijo
