Hello Everyone
WHAT: Coronado Historic Site Partnership is offering a free Ranger Read and Learn story time for children 3-6 years old to understand the birds in our skies. Listen to the story Billy Loves Birds by Jess French and Duncan Beedie, then talk with a ranger about the many different birds seen outside in New Mexico. WHEN: Saturday, May 17, 2025, 10-11 a.m. WHERE: Martha Liebert Public Library, 124 Calle Malinche, Bernalillo, NM 87004 WHY: You’ll talk about what birds you have seen outside, how big or small they were, the colors of their feathers, and what kind of beaks they have. After learning all about birds and trying some fun activities, participants will make paper bird masks inspired by photos of birds found at Coronado Historic Site.
