ADVISORY- Annual C�sar Ch�vez And Dolores Huerta Celebration honors legacy of both labor leaders on April 13

Hi Everyone,

In collaboration with the Recuerda a Cesar Chavez Committee , the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) will play host to an annual march and celebration that honors a pair of legendary labor leaders: Dolores Huerta and César Chávez!

What: The 31st Annual César Chávez And Dolores Huerta Celebration. This unique celebration, which has been held at the Center since 2007, is the only one of its kind in the country that honors both great civil rights leaders. Join us for a March for Justice at 10:00 a.m., followed by a fiesta at the Center from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. The legendary Dolores Huerta will be our honored guest!

Who: The Annual César Chávez and Dolores Huerta Celebration is sponsored by the City of Albuquerque and supported by the NHCC and the County of Bernalillo.

Where: The National Hispanic Cultural Center, located at 1701 4th Street SW.

When: Saturday, April 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Why: It’s an opportunity to honor a pair of change-makers while continuing to push for the change they have fought for in our own backyards.
