ADVISORY: Celebrate Pride at the National Hispanic Cultural Center with �Orgullo! A LatinX Pride Celebration on June 22-23

In collaboration with the New Mexico Gay Men’s Chorus (NMGMC), the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) is thrilled to present ¡ Orgullo! A LatinX Pride Celebration , a new production showcasing the culture and passion of New Mexico’s Hispanic community!
What: ¡Orgullo! A LatinX Pride Celebration showcases Latin artists and shines the spotlight on the people who have always been a part of the LGBTQ+ community by exploring traditional Latinx music and dance with LGBTQ+ twists.
The concert will feature a variety of music, including some traditional folk music, entrancing art music, dazzling rhythmic pieces, a suite of Selena songs, and some heartfelt arrangements from the movie Coco . And of course, NMGMC will be singing Gloria Estefan’s iconic song “Coming Out of The Dark” as a celebration of the healing power of togetherness.
Tickets range from $20 to $60, with a $2 discount for seniors 60 and over, children 12 and under, and NHCC Foundation members. More information about the concert is available HERE , please visit nmgmc.org for a full list of performances.
Who: Wrapping up their 43rd season, the New Mexico Gay Men's Chorus strives to be an empowering voice for the LGBTQ+ community and to enrich the greater New Mexican community through our choral excellence.
Where: The NHCC Albuquerque Journal Theatre, located at 1701 4th Street SW.
When: 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 and 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 23.
Why: Not only does this concert celebrate New Mexico’s beautiful Latin and Hispanic music and dance, but it also further affirms the place and voice of LGBTQ+ people in those cultures.
