ADVISORY: Celebrate the Year of the Snake with Museum of International Folk Art

Hi Everyone,

Join the Museum of International Folk Art to welcome the Year of the Snake. Considered a time of transformation, wisdom and creativity, the snake shows us how to learn from the past, let go and embrace what is to come.

WHAT: Celebrate Asian New Year traditions and the Year of the Snake. There will be family-fun for all ages including art activities, performances by Quang Minh Temple Lion Dance Group , Taiko Drumming by Smokin’ Bachi Taiko and more! FREE admission all day. WHO : Quang Minh Temple Lion Dance Group and Santa Fe Wadaiko.

WHEN: Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

WHERE: Museum of International Folk Art, 706 Camino Lejo, Santa Fe NM

WHY: Lunar New Year is an important celebration around the world, and the museum is excited to share the traditions of different cultures. In 2025, Lunar New Year falls on January 29, kicking off the 16-day Spring Festival.
