ADVISORY: Dance the night away at the National Hispanic Cultural Center�s Noche De Familia on Feb. 16

Hi Everyone,

The National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) is thrilled to announce its latest Noche de Familia: Fiesta de Baile, featuring a free screening of Selena and dance party for multigenerational families!

What: Noche de Familia: Fiesta de Baile. Head to the Center for a family-friendly dance party. Enjoy Valentine’s and music-inspired art activities, snacks, and learn some new dance moves!

Then, extend the fun with our free family film, Selena (1997), at 7:00 pm in the Albuquerque Journal Theatre. Starring Jennifer Lopez and Edward James Olmos, this biopic celebrates the life of the talented and beloved Tejana singer Selena Quintanilla-Pérez. Selena is recommended for ages 10 and up.

This is a free community event, generously supported by NM Gas. Learn more and register HERE .

Where: NHCC campus, located at 1701 4th Street SW. The screening of Selena will take place in the NHCC’s Albuquerque Journal Theatre. When: Friday, Feb. 16 at 5:00 p.m. The film screening will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Why: It’s a chance to extend the Valentine’s Day festivities with dancing and activities for the whole family!
