Hello everyone,
WHAT: Do you have an interest or passion for history? Would you like to learn how to use that passion for a new hobby? Join us on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, at Fort Stanton Historic Site, where our Museum Technician will present on how to get started in living history. Learn about the hobby and the best places to research and get to know the basics. WHERE: Fort Stanton Historic Site, 104 Kit Carson Road, Fort Stanton, NM 88323 WHEN: Saturday, May 10, 2025, 10:00 a.m.- 2 p.m. WHY: It’s an educational event for the entire family, with a taste of New Mexico’s history. Admission to the site and activities is $7 for adults. Admission is free to children 16 and younger, Native/Tribal Affiliations, NM disabled veterans, NM foster families, and MNMF members.
