ADVISORY: Judy Chicago and Larry Bell at New Mexico Museum of Art

WHAT: Join New Mexico Museum of Art for a First Friday event with Larry Bell and Judy Chicago. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at https://my.nmculture.org/23047/30043 .

WHO: Judy Chicago (born July 20, 1939, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.) American feminist artist whose complex and focused installations created some of the visual context of the women’s liberation movement in the 1970s and beyond. Larry Bell , throughout his career Larry Bell has made investigations into the properties of light on surface. By experimenting with the nature of surface and its relationship to space, Bell has devised a methodology characterized by spontaneity, intuition, and improvisation. WHERE: New Mexico Museum of Art on the Plaza, 107 West Palace Avenue, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

WHEN: Friday, April 5, 5:30-6:30 p.m. WHY: Join celebrated artists Judy Chicago and Larry Bell for a conversation about their careers in New Mexico.
