ADVISORY: Love is in the air with two Valentine�s Day events at the NM Museum of Natural History & Science

Hi Everyone,

The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science (NMMNHS) is gearing up for Valentine’s Day with a pair of events in early February that showcase love in all its various forms.

What: First, join us on Friday, Feb. 2 for our Fall in Love with Science Family Night . Enjoy family-friendly activities and visit with experts in paleontology, astronomy, geology, and other subject areas and learn what made them fall in love with their particular discipline of science. This event is geared toward science-lovers of all ages! Tickets are $5 per person.

A week later, head back to the Museum on Feb. 9 for our Valentine’s Day Adult Night ! Journey through time with your date as we go from the Triassic to modern day with the Walk Through Time. Choose a screening of the beloved planetarium show Mesmerica 360 and, if the evening sky is clear, stargaze through the museum’s observatory. This is a 21-and-over event. Tickets are $37.50 per person and cover museum access, a drink ticket, and a screening of Mesmerica 360 in the Planetarium.

Where: Both events will take place at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science’s Atrium, located at 1801 Mountain Road NW.

When: Fall in Love with Science will take place on Friday, Feb. 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Valentine’s Day Adult Night will be held on Friday, Feb. 9 from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m.

Why: Whether you’re looking for a unique date night idea or science-focused fun for the entire family, the museum has something special this Valentine’s Day!
