Join New Mexico Museum of Art to celebrate the public opening of Lucy R. Lippard: Notes from the Radical Whirlwind , a dynamic exhibition honoring the prolific career of writer, activist, and curator Lucy R. Lippard—one of the most influential figures in contemporary art and cultural activism over the past sixty years. The Women’s Board will be graciously hosting a reception with refreshments from 5-7 p.m.
WHAT: Opening Reception for Lucy R. Lippard: Notes from the Radical Whirlwind
WHERE: New Mexico Museum of Art Vladem Contemporary, 404 Montezuma St. Santa Fe, NM 87501 WHEN: Friday, October 24, 5-7:30 p.m.
WHY: Spanning two galleries, Notes from the Radical Whirlwind charts Lippard’s evolution from a sharp-eyed writer and curator to a leading voice for feminist and activist art.
