Hi Everyone,
Head to the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) for Día Del Niño, a free day on April 26 celebrating the youth in our community for families of all ages and sizes!
What: Día Del Niño will feature an appearance from Nanny’s Petting Zoo, student films, and our Youth Art Market. Throughout the event, performances from Voces de Coronado, Ballet Folklorico Fiesta Mexicana, Public Academy for Performing Arts, and National Institute of Flamenco will add music and dance to the festivities. Visitors will have a chance to learn about birds and bugs with the U.S. Forest Service. Kids will be able to make art, play, climb a rock wall and discover a variety of community resources from the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science, UNM Early Childhood Services Center, Explora, New Mexico PBS, Kids Cook, Bernalillo County Public Library and other organizations. Where: The NHCC Domenici Education Building, located at 1701 4th Street SW When: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 26. Why: Día Del Niño reminds us that children are our future and celebrates our youth through fun and family-friendly activities!
