Hi Everyone,
New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum invites you to meet Fern Sawyer, the latest exemplar in the “Her Land: Women in Agriculture” exhibit.
WHO: Fern Sawyer built her legacy stitch-by-stitch as a rodeo champion and politician, who tore down barriers with her fearless attitude. She was known for her unmistakable style with an amassed collection of 200 pairs of custom boots.
WHAT: “Her Land: Women in Agriculture” is a rotating exhibit in the central corridor at New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The exhibit features various prominent women in agriculture and their stories of resilience and expertise that continue to shape the agricultural landscape of the state.
WHEN: Find Sawyer’s exhibit near the lobby and explore the rest of the Museum during normal business hours (Monday - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.) through summer.
WHERE: New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, 4100 Dripping Springs Rd, Las Cruces, NM, 88011
