ADVISORY: "Saints & Santos" debuts at New Mexico Museum of Art with free admission July 20

Don’t miss the opening of Saints & Santos: Picturing the Holy in New Spain at New Mexico Museum of Art.

WHAT: Saints & Santos Community Day will include art activities in the courtyard, live music, a gallery talk, refreshments provided by the Women’s Board, and free admission for all!

WHERE: New Mexico Museum of Art, 107 West Plaza Avenue, Santa Fe, NM

WHEN: Saturday, July 20, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Guitar player, Tito Rios, from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Gallery Talk with curator Dr. Cristina González 11 a.m. Refreshments provided by Women’s Board from 1:30-3:30 p.m. WHY: This extraordinary showcase delves into the profound role of saints and their visual representations in New Spain, a viceroyalty of the Spanish Empire from 1521 to 1821, encompassing modern-day Mexico, Central America, and the US Southwest.
