Hi Everyone,
WHAT: A special evening stargazing event celebrating the exhibition Makowa: The Worlds Above Us , featuring curator-led tours, a Pop-Up Planetarium, live music, and local food.
WHO: Hosted by the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, in collaboration with the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science and Jemez Historic Site. Live music by the Adrian Wall Trio from Jemez Pueblo and food provided by Over the Moon food truck. WHEN: Friday, October 24, 6-10 p.m.
WHERE: Museum of Indian Arts & Culture , 710 Camino Lejo, Santa Fe, NM
WHY: Celebrate the wonders of the night sky and Indigenous perspectives of the cosmos with an interactive evening under the stars. Visitors will enjoy guided tours of the exhibition Makowa: The Worlds Above Us , immersive experiences in a Pop-Up Planetarium, delicious eats, and live music.
