ADVISORY: Step into the enchanting holiday atmosphere at the Palace of the Governors at New Mexico History Museum

Hi Everyone,
New Mexico History Museum (NMHM) is hosting Holidays at the Palace, a free annual heartwarming celebration that includes live music, craft activities, and a visit from Santa.
What: NMHM hosts its annual “Holidays at the Palace” event, a beloved tradition that brings families and friends together to enjoy the magic of the season. The Palace, an iconic landmark dating back to 1610, will be adorned with festive decorations and twinkling farolitos, welcoming visitors to explore the exhibitions inside. Enjoy the sounds of local musicians performing holiday classics throughout the evening including Rachel Kelli, Violinist; David Dean, Guitarist; Coro de Agua Fria; Schola Cantorum of Santa Fe’s Sacred Music Ensemble; Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association Quartet; and Santa Fe Talent Education’s Student Suzuki Violinists. Everyone is welcome to make a holiday letterpress craft at the Palace Press, enjoy hot cider and cookies, and visit with Santa. Please bring non-perishable items to donate for a food drive. This event is free and open to everyone.

When: Friday, Dec. 13, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The museum will close at 3 p.m. on Dec. 13 to prepare for this evening event.
Where: New Mexico History Museum Palace of the Governors, Santa Fe. Enter under the Palace Portal, opposite the Santa Fe Plaza Bandstand.
Why: The New Mexico History Museum offers a fun, free community event to help people create lasting holiday memories with their loved ones.
