The Indigenous Foodways Festival celebrates and honors the vibrant, living culinary traditions and ancestral knowledge of Indigenous peoples across the Southwest. Through storytelling, cooking demonstrations, hands-on classes, art, and shared food experiences, the festival uplifts Indigenous voices while fostering connection, understanding, and community. WHAT: Indigenous Foodways Festival highlights how Indigenous foodways sustain culture, identity, land stewardship, and future generations. Event Pricing & Registration: • General Admission — Adult (13+): $15, Kids (4–12): $5, Children ages 3 and under are free Includes festival entry and Museum of Indian Arts & Culture admission. • Indigenous Chefs’ Tasting Experience: $55 Includes General Admission, Museum admission, and seven curated tasting bites available from 12–4 p.m. Limited availability. • Add-On Experiences: Price varies Require General Admission. Space is limited and concurrent sessions may overlap. WHO: The Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, Indigenous chefs, artists, cultural practitioners, educators, and community members from across the Southwest. WHEN: Saturday, June 20, 2026. 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. WHERE: Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, 710 Camino Lejo, Santa Fe, NM 87505 WHY: The Indigenous Foodways Festival creates a space where tradition and innovation come together to celebrate Indigenous culinary knowledge, cultural resilience, and community.
