Hello everyone,
The Wonders on Wheels Mobile Museum, a division of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, is touring the exhibit “Eight Sites, One History: Explore the Past at New Mexico Historic Sites" to public libraries and museums.
What: During the first two weeks of August, visitors in the Southeast and Northern regions of the state can see the exhibit, sponsored by New Mexico Historic Sites, highlighting the distinctive stories revealed at each of the state’s eight sites, from Indigenous lifeways to Spanish settlement to US statehood and beyond. Visitors of all ages can also participate in hands-on learning activities. These upcoming community events are free and open to the public.

Why: Wonderson Wheels serves all 33 counties in New Mexico annually, bringing arts, culture, history, and science exhibits and curriculum-based programming to fairs, festivals, public libraries, and schools. The goal is to make learning fun and accessible to people of all ages throughout the state.
