ADVISORY: WOW on the road to your hometown

Hello everyone,

WOW is on the road across New Mexico, here’s the schedule for your community:

Wed 5/22: Leyendecker Plant Sciences Center Field Day, Las Cruces

Tues 5/28: Roswell Public Library

Wed 5/29: Artesia Public Library, 10am-4pm

Thurs 5/30: Hobbs Public Library, 10am-1pm

Thurs 5/30: Tatum Community Library, 3pm-5pm

Fri 5/31: Carlsbad Public Library, 3pm-8pm

Sat 6/1: Desert Willow Wildlife Refuge, Carlsbad, 11am-3pm

The New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs’ (NMDCA) is excited to offer free admission to the state’s eight museums and seven historic sites this summer to active-duty military personnel and their families through the Blue Star Museums program. New Mexico has a sizable active-duty military and National Guard population of more than 43,000 people and NMDCA offers these individuals a chance to explore the history and culture of the state beginning on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 18, 2024 through Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2024.
