Letter from the Marketing Coordinator

Greetings outdoor enthusiasts,

Our small and mighty team reunited in Albuquerque for Adventure Pitch Fest earlier this month, and we had a blast connecting with outdoor entrepreneurs from across the state. Any event that involves feeding llamas and hugging burros is bound to spark joy, but seeing the community come out to cheer on New Mexico's bold outdoor business owners was the true highlight. Congratulations to this year's pitch battle winners:

1st Place – New Mexico Pack Burros

2nd Place – Wild Earth Llama Adventures

3rd Place – FishSki Provisions

And thank you to all of our pitch battle finalists for braving the stage, sharing your stories, and showcasing your unique businesses:

Enchanted Equine Adventures

Mesilla Valley Wine & Brew Tours

Preservation Dogs

San Juan Rodworks

Taos Raft and Kayak Rentals

Be the first to know about next year's Adventure Pitch Fest by signing up for updates at nmoutside.com/apf-updates .

Looking ahead, we're excited to continue celebrating our outdoor industry and are pleased to share that we'll be partnering with the New Mexico Tourism Department to promote the value and importance of New Mexico's outdoor recreation economy. Save the date for Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Day at the Capitol on Monday, January 26, from 9 AM–2 PM in Santa Fe .

Stay wild! Michelle Simon
