ECECD has a New Santa Fe Location

ECECD's Early Childhood Education and Nutrition (ECEN) and the Family Support and Early Intervention (FSEI) departments have moved!

New Santa Fe Office Location

The Early Childhood Education and Care Department's Early Childhood Education and Nutrition (ECEN) division and the Family Support and Early Intervention (FSEI) division have completed their move.

As of Monday, May 19, 2025, these divisions are now operating from their new location at 1105 S. St. Francis Dr., Santa Fe, NM 87505.

The ECEN division includes key programs and bureaus such as New Mexico PreK), the Family Nutrition Bureau responsible for the Child and Adult Care Food Program and Summer Food Service Program, and the Child Care Services Bureau. The FSEI division encompasses vital services including the Family Infant Toddler (FIT) Program, the Home Visiting Program, and the Families FIRST Program.

We are confident that this transition is enhancing the department’s ability to maintain an exceptional service level and foster greater collaboration within the community. This new location features amenities designed with parents and caregivers in mind, including a dedicated lactation room and an on-site child care facility. By establishing a workplace that recognizes and supports the needs of parents and families, we are better equipped to support our staff—ultimately advancing our mission to serve New Mexico’s children and families more effectively.

Nueva Ubicación de la Oficina en Santa Fe

Las divisiones de Educación y Nutrición Temprana (ECEN) y de Apoyo Familiar e Intervención Temprana (FSEI) del Departamento de Educación y Cuidado Temprano (ECECD) han completado su mudanza.

A partir del lunes, 19 de mayo de 2025, estas divisiones operan desde su nueva ubicación en 1105 S. St. Francis Dr., Santa Fe, NM 87505.

La división ECEN incluye programas y oficinas clave como el PreKínder de Nuevo México (NM PreK), la Oficina de Nutrición Familiar (FNB), responsable del Programa de Alimentos para el Cuidado de Niños y Adultos (CACFP) y el Programa de Servicio de Alimentos de Verano (SFSP), y la Oficina de Servicios de Cuidado Infantil (CCSB). La división FSEI abarca servicios vitales que incluyen el Programa para Familias con Infantes y Niños Pequeños (FIT), el Programa de Visitas a Domicilio y el Programa Families FIRST.

Confiamos en que esta transición está mejorando la capacidad del departamento para mantener un nivel de servicio excepcional y fomentar una mayor colaboración dentro de la comunidad. Esta nueva ubicación cuenta con servicios diseñados pensando en los padres y cuidadores, incluyendo una sala de lactancia dedicada y una guardería infantil en el lugar. Al establecer un lugar de trabajo que reconoce y apoya las necesidades de los padres y las familias, estamos mejor equipados para apoyar a nuestro personal, impulsando en última instancia nuestra misión de servir a los niños y las familias de Nuevo México de manera más efectiva.
