Taking place on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the New Horizons Dome Theater of the NM Museum of Space History in Alamogordo, this immersive experience is co-hosted by the Jornada Research Institute. Throughout the day, a dynamic lineup of renowned speakers will delve into the astronomical importance of petroglyphs, solar calendars, eclipses, and ceremonial sites. Whether you're a seasoned archaeologist, a budding astronomer, or an art enthusiast, Ancient Skies, Modern Eyes offers a rich and inspiring journey through our shared sky, past, present, and future.

The New Mexico Museum of Space History in Alamogordo is a division of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs. A Smithsonian Affiliate, the museum showcases the significant role New Mexico has played in the development of the U.S. Space Program and features the International Space Hall of Fame, and New Horizons Dome Theater.
