Inmate worker attempts to walkaway

Santa Fe — The New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD), in coordination with the New Mexico State Police, is investigating a possible attempted walkaway from the NMCD Central Office campus in Santa Fe on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

To preserve the integrity of the ongoing investigation, NMCD will release additional information as it becomes available.
