New Mexico is leading the nation with Universal Child Care, a system built on the belief that every family deserves affordable, quality care, and every provider deserves recognition and support.
ECECD invites providers, families, businesses, and community partners across the state to take the Universal Child Care Pledge — a public commitment to making Universal Child Care a success for everyone.
By taking the pledge, you show your pride in being part of this historic effort and your commitment to helping build a stronger, more equitable early childhood system for New Mexico families.
What the Pledge Means
When you take the pledge, you are saying:
You believe in universal access to affordable, quality care.
You will encourage families to enroll in Child Care Assistance.
You will support and help share ECECD’s Universal Child Care outreach efforts, including digital and in-person events, resources, and communications that help families and providers stay informed.
You are committed to seeking and sharing accurate information about Universal Child Care to strengthen public understanding and counter misinformation.
You are dedicated to working together to ensure that Universal Child Care strengthens New Mexico’s economy and supports working families.
This pledge is about partnership, accuracy, and shared responsibility. It is a collective promise to support families, providers, and communities as New Mexico continues to lead the way in early childhood care and education.

Show Your Pride : Receive your “UCC Proud” digital badge to display on your website, social media, or printed materials.
Help Spread the Word : Promote Universal Child Care at ECECD digital and in-person events and through available resources at nmececd.org/universal .

Únase al movimiento y fortalezca a la comunidad de la primera infancia de Nuevo México
Nuevo México está liderando la nación con el Cuidado Infantil Universal, un sistema basado en la creencia de que cada familia merece cuidado asequible y de calidad, y cada proveedor merece reconocimiento y apoyo.
El ECECD invita a proveedores, familias, empresas y socios comunitarios de todo el estado a asumir el Compromiso de Cuidado Infantil Universal — un compromiso público para hacer que el Cuidado Infantil Universal sea un éxito para todos.
Al asumir el compromiso, usted demuestra su orgullo de ser parte de este esfuerzo histórico y su compromiso de ayudar a construir un sistema de primera infancia más fuerte y equitativo para las familias de Nuevo México.
Qué significa el Compromiso
Cuando asume el compromiso, usted está diciendo:
Que cree en el acceso universal a un cuidado asequible y de calidad.
Que animará a las familias a inscribirse en la Asistencia para el Cuidado Infantil.
Que apoyará y ayudará a compartir los esfuerzos de difusión del Cuidado Infantil Universal del ECECD, incluyendo eventos digitales y presenciales, recursos y comunicaciones que ayudan a las familias y proveedores a mantenerse informados.
Que está comprometido/a a buscar y compartir información precisa sobre el Cuidado Infantil Universal para fortalecer la comprensión pública y contrarrestar la desinformación.
Que está dedicado/a a trabajar juntos para asegurar que el Cuidado Infantil Universal fortalezca la economía de Nuevo México y apoye a las familias trabajadoras.
Este compromiso se trata de colaboración, precisión y responsabilidad compartida. Es una promesa colectiva de apoyar a las familias, proveedores y comunidades mientras Nuevo México continúa liderando el camino en el cuidado y la educación de la primera infancia.
