Please join us on January 27, 2025 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the New Mexico State Capitol for Senior Day at the Legislature

The countdown to Senior Day 2025 is on, and we’re excited to share the newly released agenda for this impactful event! Mark your calendar for Monday, January 27, 2025, at the New Mexico State Capitol, where we’ll come together to celebrate and advocate for seniors across our state.

Here’s what’s in store: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Arrival and Office Visits with Legislators

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Formal Presentation featuring: Senior Day Proclamation

Remarks by Secretary Designate Emily Kaltenbach

Insights from select state legislators and executive branch members

12:00 PM– 1:00 PM: Entertainment, refreshments, and activities while exploring resource tables

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Resource table visits and event closing

This is your chance to connect, learn, and make your voice heard on issues affecting your community. New Mexico Aging Services will not be providing transportation to this event due to limited capacity. We encourage you to contact your local senior center to ask about their plans to participate.
