EMNRD NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF PUBLIC HEARING

May 9 th Solar Tax Credit Rulemaking Hearing Rescheduled to July 2 nd

SANTA FE, NM – The New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department, Energy Conservation and Management Division, announces the termination of the public rule hearing initially scheduled for Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 9:30 a.m., as noticed in Issue 7 of the New Mexico Register published on April 9, 2024. The public rule hearing is now set for July 2, 2024.

In accordance with Subsection C of Section 14-4-5 NMSA 1978, the hearing regarding the proposed repeal and replace for 3.3.14 NMAC New Solar Market Development Income Tax Credit is hereby vacated.

The Energy Conservation and Management Division acknowledges that previous communications may have indicated availability of the tax credit portal in June 2024; however, we now anticipate the portal opening in July 2024.
