AV partners with the State of New Mexico and City of Albuquerque in defense manufacturing expansion

ALBUQUERQUE — Tuesday, March 3 , the State of New Mexico and City of Albuquerque will join with defense manufacturing company AV in a press event to announce the expansion of their Albuquerque campus.

The project builds on the successful growth of BlueHalo, which received state and local support in 2022 and was acquired by AV in 2025. Following the acquisition, the company rebranded as AV and has more than doubled its Albuquerque workforce since 2023. Over the next ten years, AV plans to create more than 450 new jobs, adding to a workforce that already exceeds 400 employees.

When: Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 10 a.m. Attendees are asked to arrive starting at 9:30 am.

Where: AV Albuquerque Campus, 1300 Eubank Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87123

Parking: Parking will be available at the front of the facility. Upon arrival, AV personnel will guide attendees to the event location. For parking or entry inquiries, contact Mason Martinez at mason.martinez@avinc.com .
