MEDIA ADVISORY: Integrated Education and Training Institute set to host informational event
SANTA FE – The New Mexico Higher Education Department on Thursday will host the Integrated Education and Training (IET) Institute in Santa Fe, an event that will focus on developing innovative solutions for workforce development in New Mexico.

The event will explore how IET programs can serve as a cornerstone of the state’s workforce system, hear from inspiring leaders in education and community, and witness real success stories that highlight the transformative power of innovative IET programs making a positive impact in New Mexico. IET programs at department-funded adult education programs offer integrated courses where adult learners engage in contextualized adult education or literacy services while completing workforce preparation and training activities aligned with their career goals.
