Delinquent property tax auction scheduled in Valencia County

SANTA FE—The Taxation and Revenue Department has scheduled a delinquent property tax auction in Valencia County for May 2.

The state attempts to collect delinquent property taxes when counties are unable to do so. If the state is unable to collect the delinquent taxes, the subject properties are auctioned for sale.

Auctions have been scheduled in the following county:

Valencia County. When: 10 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2024. Where: County Commission Chambers, 444 Luna Avenue, Los Lunas.

More information, including terms of the auction sales, is available on the Delinquent Property Tax Auctions page at tax.newmexico.gov . Announcements of future auctions also will be available there.

Registration begins in person at 8 a.m. on the day of the auction and ends promptly at auction time. Bidders must be registered to participate.
