Delinquent property tax auctions scheduled in three counties

SANTA FE—The Taxation and Revenue Department has scheduled delinquent property tax auctions in Mora, Cibola and Quay Counties.

The state attempts to collect delinquent property taxes when counties are unable to do so. If the state is unable to collect the delinquent taxes, the subject properties are auctioned for sale.

Auctions have been scheduled in the following counties:

Mora County. When: 10 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2024. Where: 1 Courthouse Drive, Mora.

Cibola County. When: 10 a.m. , Tuesday, June 11, 2024 . Where: Cibola County Auction Site, 515 West High Street, Grants.

Quay County. When: 10 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024. Where: Quay Auction Site, 300 South Third Street, Tucumcari.

More information, including terms of the auction sales, is available on the Delinquent Property Tax Auctions page at tax.newmexico.gov . Announcements of future auctions also will be available there.

Registration begins in person at 8 a.m. on the day of the auction and ends promptly at auction time. Bidders must be registered to participate.
