Delinquent property tax auctions scheduled in August
SANTA FE – The Taxation and Revenue Department will hold delinquent property tax auctions in Guadalupe, San Juan, Rio Arriba, Mora, Valencia, and Sandoval counties in August, open to individuals in attendance to bid on.
The state attempts to collect delinquent property taxes when counties are unable to collect for themselves. The state notifies delinquent taxpayers about the taxes due and planned sales of delinquent property. If the state is unable to collect the delinquent taxes, the subject properties are auctioned for sale.
Auctions have been scheduled in the following counties:
Guadalupe , 10 a.m., August 5, at 130 S. Fourth, Santa Rosa, New Mexico 88435
San Juan , 10 a.m., August 13, at 100 S. Oliver Dr. Ste 300, Aztec, New Mexico 87410
Rio Arriba , 10 a.m., August 14, at Rio Arriba County Courthouse, 1122 Industrial Park Rd., Espanola, New Mexico 87532
Mora , 10 a.m., August 19, at 1 Courthouse Dr., Mora, New Mexico 87732
Valencia , 10 a.m., August 21, at Commissioner’s Chambers, 444 Luna Ave., Los Lunas, New Mexico 87031
Sandoval , 10 a.m., August 27, at Bernalillo Recreation Center, 370 Rotary Park Rd., Bernalillo, New Mexico 87004

Registration begins in person at 8 a.m. on the day of the auction and ends promptly at auction time. Bidders must be registered to participate.
