Delinquent property tax auctions scheduled in October
SANTA FE – The Taxation and Revenue Department will hold delinquent property tax auctions in San Miguel and Valencia Counties in October, alllowing individuals in attendance to submit bids.
The state attempts to collect delinquent property taxes when counties are unable to collect for themselves. The state notifies delinquent taxpayers about the taxes due and planned sales of delinquent property. If the state is unable to collect the delinquent taxes, the subject properties are auctioned for sale.
Auctions have been scheduled in the following counties:
San Miguel , 10 a.m., October 16, at County Chambers, 500 W National, 2 nd Floor, Las Vegas, New Mexico, 87701
Valencia , 10 a.m., October 23, at 444 Luna Avenue, Los Lunas, NM 87031

Registration begins in person at 8 a.m. on the day of the auction and ends promptly at auction time. Bidders must be registered to participate.
