RELEASE: Apex Amphibian- NM Museum of Natural History & Science researcher contributes to discovery of massive prehistoric carnivore

Hi Everyone,

Meet Stenokranio boldi, a newly discovered carnivorous amphibian that lived nearly 300 million years ago. Stenokranio was believed to be one of the top predators of its age.

Stenokranio was discovered earlier this year by an international team of researchers that includes a research associate from the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science.
