Christopher Harris named Marketing Public Education Outreach Director for NMHealth
SANTA FE—Patrick Allen, Secretary of NMHealth announced today that Christopher Harris has been named Marketing Public Education Outreach Director for the department.
“We are very excited to have Christopher join the team here at NMHealth,” said Patrick Allen , Secretary for NMHealth. “Christopher’s deep knowledge of marketing and engagement will help the department promote all the programs and services we offer to help make New Mexico the healthiest state by 2040.”
Christopher has extensive experience in digital marketing, web development, email marketing, content development, social media and marketing analytics. Prior to joining NMHealth, Christopher served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Build Change. In this role he led a rebrand effort for the organization and overhauled audience segments and content strategy to re-engage lapsed donors.
He previously served as the Director of Engagement Marketing for the University of Colorado where he and his team developed a multi-channel strategy for a single day giving campaign that generated over $300,000. Prior to that he served as the Director of Marketing for the Davis Phinney Foundation where he increased donor engagement and retention. Christopher also held marketing roles at The Water Research Foundation and the Colorado School of Public Health.
He has a bachelor's degree from Champlain College and a master's degree in organizational communication from the University of Denver.
