Hello everyone,
Old Lincoln Days, an annual event celebrating the history of Billy the Kid, Sheriff Pat Garrett, and other characters from the Lincoln County War, had a successful turnout despite recent fires and flood in Lincoln County, including an unlikely group of visitors from Africa. A group of international delegates from Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, and Tanzania who are students from the International Law Enforcement Academy in Roswell came out for a fun day of learning a bit of New Mexico history.
