RELEASE: New Mexico History Museum Names 2023 Steve Wimmer Scholar and Opens Call for Next Round of Applicants

Research grant supports Southwestern historical study.

Hi Everyone,

The New Mexico History Museum is pleased to announce that Dr. Peter Linder, professor at New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM, has been selected as the recipient of a grant from the Steve Wimmer Southwestern Historical Research Fund. Dr. Linder is studying evangelical protestant missionaries and teachers from the Las Vegas area during the transition from a territory to statehood. The Museum also announces that a third research grant will be awarded from the Steve Wimmer Fund in 2024. Read the full press release below for more information.
