RELEASE: The flame of community tradition celebrated in Zozobra exhibition at New Mexico History Museum

Hi Everyone,

The New Mexico History Museum is celebrating Zozobra’s centennial with a new exhibition, Zozobra: A Fire That Never Goes Out , opening August 23, 2024, and on exhibit through September 30, 2025. The exhibition examines the history of the so-called “Old Man Gloom” through artistic depictions and historic ephemera, and it includes items selected from the museum collections and archives alongside items on loan from community members.
