Reminder: Universal Child Care Provider Town Halls Tomorrow and Saturday

Dear Providers,

This is a reminder that the Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) is hosting two virtual Provider Town Halls on Zoom tomorrow and Saturday. These sessions are an opportunity to learn more about the rollout of universal child care beginning Tuesday, November 1, 2025, hear updates directly from the department, ask questions, and share your perspective.

We encourage you to submit questions beforehand at the link here: Universal Question Submission Form

Town Hall Options (Spanish interpretation will be provided at both):

Friday, September 19, 2025 | 5:30–6:45 p.m.

Saturday, September 20, 2025 | 10–11:15 a.m.

For those unable to attend, a recording of one of the town halls will be made available on our Universal Child Care page following the events.

Please note: This town hall meeting is not part of the official rule-making hearing, which will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 9–11:30 a.m. (A previous communication did not reflect the correct date and time.)

Les recordamos que el Departamento de Educación y Cuidado de la Primera Infancia (ECECD) celebrará dos reuniones públicas virtuales para personas que proveen servicios en Zoom mañana y en sabado. Estas sesiones son una oportunidad para obtener más información sobre la implementación del cuidado infantil universal a partir del martes 1 de noviembre de 2025, conocer las últimas novedades directamente del departamento, hacer preguntas y compartir su opinión.
