Nearly 400 home visitors gathered for ECECD's annual meeting Why it matters: Once a year, home visitors from across New Mexico get out of the field and into one room — to dig into new legislation, learn from each other, and refocus on the relationships at the heart of the work.
What’s next: All home visiting providers and staff must create PDIS accounts by July 1, 2026. 03 Deadline · May 1 LENA Grow pilot reaches 739 NM PreK kids — 95% saw language gains Why it matters: A five-week pilot in April and May helped 112 teachers across 31 PreK programs increase conversational turns with children. Most educators recommended it to colleagues, and another cohort opens for 2026–27. Plus: every NM PreK classroom received a free Lakeshore Math Kit to strengthen early math outcomes.
